Book review – The Lucky One

This captivating book instantly sweeps you off your feet because of its vivacious story line. The ordinary characters are easy to get to know and don’t hide anything from you. It feels as if you get involved into their lives. The characters are honest, spirited and genuine. This novel is about a young man who finds out what he’s been searching for.

The young and strong-minded Logan is a marine who serves in Iraq. While serving, Logan finds a photograph with an enchantingly beautiful young woman on it. He is determined to think this photograph has helped him through some detrimental situations forestalled in Iraq. Logan is not quite able to determine what to deem about this particular photograph.

Trying to find the possessor of the photograph, Logan sorrowfully comes to know that the owner of the photograph has recently passed away in Iraq. A landmark on the photograph unveils the woman on it has to reside in Louisiana. Logan settles to outset his quest to detect who the woman on the picture is.

The journey and the paramount effect of the quest guide Logan towards an unexpected turning point. He first feels uneasy around the person he finds, but similarly important, around the acquaintance connected. Logan ostensibly defies difficulties in an unlooked-for way and ends up having to show profound sincerity.

This novel is refined as well as entertaining. You will not easily forget this beautifully written story which you will most assuredly finish reading in a short length of time. Luckily, Nicholas Sparks has written several novels, corresponding to this one when it comes the amusement of the reader.

I have chosen the underlined words because I figured they pefectly matched this piece of writing. I have tried to let them fit in as accurately as possible and I reckon this has worked out quite well. I again have chosen some difficult and more easy-going words.
